Our mind is categorized especially in two categories:

  • Conscious Mind
  • Subconscious Mind

 

Conscious Mind: When you are reading this blog, you can see the words written in this blog because you are in your conscious state.

You can see other things also. You can perceive things using this state. When you talk and think about anything, your mind creates pictures and visuals of that particular thing.

 

Subconscious Mind: When we sleep, our heart beats, our body functions, without any command, because all these things are stored in our subconscious mind. Consider how nails grow, how hair grows; we do not know all that consciously, but there is something called subconscious mind or unconscious mind (in NLP’s language) that is continuously working on these things.

Do you know we only use 10% or less of our conscious mind?

It is like an iceberg where 10% of its portion is seen out of the water, and 90% of it is inside the water; that 90% is the subconscious mind.

Your subconscious mind is more powerful than the conscious mind. By learning how to train your subconscious mind, you can control your behavior, unwanted habits and emotions.

Subconscious mind stores and knows all the information of almost everything where the conscious mind does not, for example, how do we breathe, how our heart beats, how hair grows, how nails grow, how our eyes blink and so on. We consciously do not think about all this, but our subconscious mind is continuously working on all these things.

If a thought or goal has been delivered to the subconscious mind successfully, it creates miracles.

Let’s understand this by a small example.

When you start learning how to drive a car you are so much conscious about driving only. You do not even care about talking to anyone. This is because you want to focus on different moves; you don’t want to hurt while you are driving. However, after some time, you start driving on your own, as that information has now been passed on to your subconscious mind. Even you are able to talk to other people during driving and even talk on your cell phone. You are able to do all this because this learning is stored in your subconscious mind now.

There are things which your subconscious mind knows about but conscious mind does not. Let’s try this. Try to control your breathing for one minute. I am sure you are able to do that. This time it was the conscious mind which had the control on your breathing, but once you go off with your focus the subconscious mind will take the charge again.

Similarly, there are things which your conscious mind knows but subconscious does not; you consciously know that you should not be angry and handle things patiently but many a times during a conversation you react and get angry.

Subconscious mind learns by repetitions and without logic.

NLP helps in reprogramming your subconscious mind to overcome old beliefs, past experiences, curing diseases, removing fear, phobia, any unwanted habits and so on.

Once a command delivered to your subconscious mind, then, for sure, your mind will manifest that for you.

 

Reprogram your subconscious mind

Subconscious mind is already programmed for some of the things which are already stored in it. Think about your daily routine.

By reprogramming the subconscious mind, you can fix most of the problems in your life and can create miraculous results. Just make sure your subconscious is ready to work upon the same.

  • Being positive.
  • Do mindful meditation on daily basis to make your mind calm.
  • Every thought creates reactions.
  • What you expect needs to be realized.
  • Belief system.
  • Suggestions can be used to reprogram your subconscious mind.
